if its the bushings on leaf springs , try to soak them with wd40 , bushings my be alittle dry. at least that was my cure.

if its a squeeking sound, you may need to greese the shackeles or shoot a little prolong or WD40 on the bushings. if the problem persists, it could be a various other things. the best thing to do would be to get under your truck and inspect the suspension thoroughly. if you notice any torn bushings or any metal parts touching other metal parts you might want to have it checked out by a professional.

i installed a 4/6 drop on my chevy 1500 xtd cab. i noticed that the rear end was bottoming out on the bottom of the bed, even when i c notched the frame. the top of the differencial bumps the bottom of the bed every time i hit small bumps.  what i plan to do is install a set of helpersprings to raise the rear ends height when i am ready to drive and when i am parked i have the option to air out and sit low again.
also, with this drop, i need to shim the rear axel so that its pinion angle was correct. the angle is still a little off so i plan to shim the center support bearing as well. right now i hear some noises and feel slight vibrations mainly through out the rear end. im hoping that these corrections will make a differnce.
