I'm one of those vanners that goes way back. I've been a vanner since '73. That's 1973, not 1873 LOL. Anyway, I can understand alot of younger guys wanting to build by what's out there today, but one of the big things about vanning is you build it to suit you. You don't need to build it to fit any predetermined criteria. Unless your major motivation is to get it in a magazine or win trophys at car shows. If that's what your reason for building a van is thats OK. But vanning is so much more than that. It's a whole lifestyle. I was at the Van Nationals held in Virginia a few weeks ago and I saw both styles represented and a number of hybrid styled vans. These vans at the Nats weren't all owned by "old farts". Vanners of all ages were there. Bob Ryder will be getting some pics soon. It was great to see younger vanners standing side by side with older vanners. Many young vanners are embracing the old school style. Try it. You might like it!

Denim, sorry. A lot of the features on this forum are still "in the works" as they say. An image gallery tool is one of them. I will post an announcement once we have that capability.

I dig tubbed Astros. I saw one in Bowling Green this past weekend. I will post a pic of it as soon as it's up. It was Orange with a hood scoop, some massive rear meats and what appeared to be a Ford 9-inch out back. Anyone know the owner?

I personally like the Old School, New School mix! Mikes van is a perfect example. Lot's of old school in his van with, New school paint, electronics and engine. Sweet mix, gets everyones attention.

And Johnny O's mid Dodge, Clean and simple Old School style, with cany paint and big wheels
