hey im 16 and i finally am ready to drive, what a better thing to drive around in than a f-150 3door 50 yr edition with a V-8? well, i look around at school at all the rice rockets, and all the bMW's and i curse the snobs there, and i want a secret weapon to show whos the big truck now. this truck is on its last life, the engine is hammered with miles, a daily driver, and im getting it. bOf course im pouring my money into a pit for this beast, but i want to get a supercharger for my !st item. If there are any out there let me know, if there is a muscle car type, the huge, tall, ones that big block engines get, my dream kind, the air suckers, let me know cause i want to make this pup into a monster and hear the whine as the engine cranks up. Let me know if anyone has tips or help to get my beast a new heart and a new lung ill b much abloged, heck ill send in for a truckin' photo, thanks- keep truckin'!

Depends on where you live. The huge-@$$ blowers that stick out of the hood are illegal in most states that have smog regulations. Allen engine has a blower for it. But if the engine has a ton of miles on it, you'd probably be better off rebuilding it than just slapping a blower on it. You'll probably see it burn a lot more oil if you put a blower on a tired old engine. If your state doesn't do smog checks, then you can go nuts.

Hey I know what you are up against and understan completely but like some one else posted if you have alot of miles on your truck I would junk the engine and have a look on Ebay and pick up a long block ready to go with a waranty but I wouldn't worry about a blower I would goe for horse power you can pick up a 4.6l or a 5.4l with a range of HP for what a blower would cost for your pick up but don't forge your transmissioin with new horse power and the rear end ...
