Hi Everybody~I am trying to surprise my husband with an awesome Christmas present, but I'm needing a little guidance.  Since I can't ask him for the help, I'm hoping ya'll will help me out here.  

He has a 1969 Chevrolet truck that he has been working on for quite a while.  It's always been more go than show and we've been trying to change that lately.  I'm wanting to start the interior with a bench seat.  I am not sure what year model bench seat to look for.  I've been told that a Chevrolet bench seat from 78 - 88 will fit, but I've also been told all of the way up to 1998 will ***

Can anybody out there help with this problem?

On a truck like the 1969, you can stick pretty much whatever bench seat you want to in it.  If he's been customizing this truck and working on it, it won't be a big deal to make any particular bench seat fit.  Go for it.
