I have a 2002 3.0 4x4 ranger w.4;10 gears factory.. i get around 14-15 mpg i put a helix power tower on it and cant really see the mpg improvement, what can i do to get better gas milage and power???

You could put synthetic oil in it. That might help a little. If you're really serious about fuel economy, you could re-gear it to a little taller. But with a 4x4, you probably want to keep shorter gears.  

Honestly, a lot of it is driving habits. I don't know if it has a tachometer or not, but if you can keep the revs below 3,000 most of the time, and shift it into higher gears sooner, you might gain a few mpg.

The 3.0 is notorious for being a gas hog. I would get a nice cat-back exhaust and run 93 octane. Not only does it burn slower, it will help with the dreaded pinging the Vulcan engine is blessed with.
