need good tires

hello all my name is joel, i have a 88 ranger that will eat some mud b4 i just bought it from a fellow friend that passed away and it has all terrian tires and im not to foned of then and im not to fimailer with what the best tire is. I need a tire that will do good in mud and climbing hill's but i also have to drive to high school so what wld you alls opinion be on tires? i have looked at alot of brands. thanks to all joel

There are a lot of good dual-use tires out there. I'd look at BF Goodrich, they have a really strong following. Depends on how hard-core of a tire you want. Check out this discussion in the Off-Road forum.
