Ok, I haven't had my truck for very long, just a few days, but I have been trying to come up with things I want to do to it to make it look better. Personally I wouldn't have it if my girlfriend didn't want it, but hey, with a little customization it could turn out to be a pretty decent looking truck I think. Ok, I haven't been in the truck scene for very long (since I got my truck), so I don't really know any good sources or places to look to find the stuff I'm looking for, so thats where you guys come in. Maybe you can help me or direct me to some web sites that can help. Ok first off, its a 2002 Ford explorer sport trac, 4x4. Here are a few things I want to do to it. I want to put some 22s on it and drop it a few inches. I don't want to bag it, but I do want it to sit down on the wheels pretty good. So first of all I need to know where too look for a lowering kit. Will the 4x4 make lowering it harder? Oh and I know that dropping a 4x4 is kind of a waste, but I'm never going to use it, and I'm not much into the lifted truck scene. Ok anyways, next, does it have the same front clip as the explorers? I want to get an aggressive front bumper cover for it, but I can't seem to find one, but if I find one for the explorer will it work? So I guess, second, I need to find a web site that I can find body kits for it. And now for my last question. Will it convert to the Lincoln Aviator front end pretty easily? I'm not sure if it will, but that was just an idea I had. Any help that anyone can give me would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You may not have to lower it at all. Remember, 22s are going to fill in your wheel wells a lot more than the stock wheels & tires. I'd recommend test-fitting some 22s to see how they look & fit. In terms of the front-end, I believe the early SporTracs had the same front-end design as the Explorer Sport (the 2-door). So anything for the Explorer sport should (theoretically) fit. Yes, four wheel drive will definitely complicate things a little in terms of lowering. But like I said, first things first. Put the 22s on it first to get a feel for the look before you lower it. If you STILL want to lower it, then I'd check out Explorer Express. It doesn't specify if the kit is for 2wd or 4wd. Anyway, hope this helps.
