i found a system called visonik i get 2 1000 watt subs, 1, 1000 watt amp, and the sub box. it cost $265.00 is that a good buy? and is it a good sound system? is it worth buying?

I've heard of visionik, never had any experience with them, a general rule of thumb for amps is: if its heavy its probly well built. There is always exceptions to the rule of course. If you have a chance to get your hands on the products check out the cone, surround, and magnets of the subs. If it has a Volkswagen sized magnet, its probly going to bump. Also check the cone and see if its made of a high quality material, aluminium is good. The surround (the rubber piece around the cone) needs to be fairly beefy for a sub pushing that many amps. The best advice i can give you is to check out the products before you buy them. For only $265 it might be worth having for a little while until you can afford that JL audio or Alpine system.
