Nissan has already announced that it's going to offer the Endurance 5.6 liter V-8 in the Pathfinder for 2008. Other than independent rear suspension, it's nearly identical to the Frontier & Xterra from the B-pillar forward. Question: Should Nissan offer the V-8 as an option in the Frontier and Xterra?

Heck yeah they should! I just heard Chevy was going to offer the Colorado with the 5.3 next year. If this is true, Nissan's going to have to step up eventually. Lemme just say that would make one sweet-@$$ little truck. That thing would SCREAM! I'd totally be down for buying one if they did that.

Its been done to an Xterra and its basically a bolt in swap if you run E fans, the V8 pathfinder was stenched in the nose a few inches to have an engine driven fan.  Personally I love my 4.0 V6 and dont need lower MPGs, I would like a I4 diesel before a V8.  (I own a 06 Frontier)
