I have a chevy 350 in my scottsdale at the moment and i was wondering if i should rebuild my existing motor or i should replace it.  the motor is the original motor and has roughly 153,000 miles on it.  it is still very strong and well maintained. i am wondering if i plan to make BIG power with it, if the block will be able to handle the stress.

any suggestions will be appreciated

i would say that it can, your best bet would be to check your heads for cracks with a Spotcheck JR kit from Magnaflux.  If your heads are crack free you should be good to go. Otherwise you will need to get some new heads.  They should be fairly easy to find and to replace depending on what you want your truck for, street use, or blasting down the quarter mile like a bat out of ***  For steet use you would want a 72-74 cc head.  There are so many differnet things to consider when you are rebuilding your engine, and again, it depends on what your intentions are for your truck.  If you need more info msg me and i will give you the little bit of knowledge that i have, im no expert by any means but i know a thing or two.
