esanchez:
I hope by stickers, you're not including "Truckin'" stickers. Those make any truck look better!

Speaking of the "Truckin'" stickers.. I'd love to sport one on my beefy 98 Blazer.

One trend I'd love to see die is train horns. Nothing's more annoying than having some yahoo blast your eardrums out while you're walking by! Okay, maybe it's funny, but it's as annoying as heck!

Superchager is my bestest mod. My superchip has to go in place of an X-Cal..

Yeah, it's pretty hard to beat a blower for the fun-to-drive factor on a truck.

paint to match plastics it was always a dream for my truck and finally got it done, and superchips, thats the best thing you can do for your truck for $400, other nice things would be: clean lifted trucks (no bigger then a 6-8 lift on HD's, two tone custom paint, painted interior, billet accessories, nice 20-22 inch rims, lowered or bagged, nice sounding exhaust, theres too much to list, but bad: euro tail lights, chrome mirror caps, fake ram air hoods, billet stick ons, lambo doors (yes another hater), ghetto looking rims, theres a lot of bad stuff out there

Nice:
-Clean, simple interiors
-Push button start and numberous switshes elagantly placed give the feel of a race car
-Simple paint jobs. Stripes, two tone, and even ss stripes are fine.
-Blowers, velocity stacks, just about anything that'll let people know your engine is too big to fit it all undr your hood (ie 502 bbc in anything is downright cool)

Not so nice:
-I HATE LAMBO DOORS WITH A PASSION!!! If you must put lambo doors on a truck, then maybe customizing trucks isn't really your thing (stick to cars).
-Stand out sub enclosures. I think something looks best when it's not the first thing you see, rather it grows on you slowly. Just a thought.
-Capreted beds. OK, granted your show truck will never see a grain of dirt, but it's like nudering the truck in a way to render it completely useless for hauling.
-lifted trucks in general. I say this simply because I have owned a 2500 with a giant lift. Trust me, it's cool for about a month, then it's just annoying.

cmartin, couldn't agree more. I'm all about the subtle. Anybody can just throw a bunch of parts at a truck. I can really appreciate well-done hand fabrication, or subtle detailing, but just a bunch of tacked-on crap doesn't impress me.

Yeah, actually the famous Chip Foose said it best, "I love it when people come up and ask 'so what'd you do to it?', because the best customization is so subtle by itself it doesn't stand out until combined with all the other parts."

Im jumping on the CLEAN and SIMPLE train with everyone else. I think its the lil things that can make a big difference.....

-THINGS I LIKE-

I think its nice to look inside a truck and not be able to see where the bass is coming from...to see a nice amp rack/setup...not just screwed to the floor. The cleaner the interior the better. Paint/rims/accessories need to match with the look your going for.
+ Shaved (Doors/Everything)
+ Air suspension (Slammed/Lifted)
+ Headlights/Tail lights
+ Grill

-THINGS THAT KILL ME-

I hate "Those Guys" with "THOSE TRUCKS" that buy everything chrome that can be attached to their truck with some 3M tape. WTF...!!!
- Exhaust for an Import on a truck
- Those speakers that make animal sounds
- A few other things I could do without...but these GOT TO ***

CLEAN and SIMPLE WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE.

EDIT: I know I said that I don't like carpeted beds, but hate it or not i'm carpetting the bed of my future SS to match the interior. I know it maakes me a hipocrit, but I figured out long ago that this truck will never see a huge payload, and so it doesn't bother me that bad. Sorry!

Hey, no judgment here! You're entitled to change your opinion. I know several guys that have Bedrugs. Personally, I think I'd probably do a spray-liner, but whatever works!

Trucks that have brush gaurds that are painted to match body color are pretty trick. Also matching rooflight bulbs (blue, white,)are cool. I cannot stand when people put those small spoilers on the top of their tonneau bed covers. The only ones that look good are the ones on the Viper Truck and the Ram Daytona truck.
