Do you guys think the 2008 Caravan will maintain its status as class leader? Who do you think is their fiercest competitor? What does the new one need to succeed.

I think it's only true mini-van competition that is left is the Honda. I don't even think Nissan or Toyota are making theirs anymore.
I think as long as they keep up their ratings they will be able to survive. Although there are a lot of similar types of vehicles on the market now. The Caravan has always been the leader in the mini-van market. Hope they keep it up.

I think Toyota and Nissan would be upset you forgot the Quest and the Sienna, no matter how old the models may be. I think the Caravan will truly have to fight market share with the Korean Vans from Kia and Hyundai. Minivan owners are usually pretty bottom line oriented (they don't buy because the van makes them want to make MORE babies...they already have so many they NEED one.) With the new warranty Chrysler has and if they price it right, I am sure they will be able to hold onto their customer base.

Didn't really forget about the, I just don't see too many of them out this way. Trust me on the road playing the alphabet game with my kids while traveling, I'm searching for them Quests when I get to 'Q'.
I just meant that from the mini's I see out this way, it seems that most of the newer ones are Honda's or Caravans.
