Post your stories here about how your truck smoked a sports car, other truck, or other formidably powerful and fast vehicle. Bragging allowed.

ok, if that EVER happens for me, I'll definitely be hittin' up this Thread again. Until then, I'll just live through the stories I hear here. :-)

my good friend had a ram with a hemi, he was always way too hammered to drive so he would let me drive it, I wouldn't say I smoked any vettes, or porsches, but that thing could haul some serious ass. I can't even imagine the hurting you could put on people in a Ram SRT10...

Well, this is a second-hand account, but I saw a wicked-fast TrailBlazer SS that ran about an 11-second quarter. It sounded like a Funny Car, too. Purty impressive.

as far as performance i have simple stuff, custom exhaust (what i mean by custom is, the guy i went to designed his own muffler and everything), superchips, not much but they made a HUGE difference in my 5.3, the exhaust surprised me more then anything

The only things I've raced with my Chevroldsmobile(425 Olds in a '94 Chevy) were a 1983 Cutlass with a BUILT 455, I was destroyed. Then my neighbors GMC Cabalerro with a blown 383, I got lucky, got him off the line and he couldn't shift fast enough to catch up. And finally I raced a Stock 1971 Cutlass F-85 442, murdered it. Ended up about 2 car lengths ahead of him, screaming down the street at about 125, the cool thing was I stopped before he did at the next red light. He went through it.
