need interior tips for vinyl wrapping

Anyone have suggestions for wrapping vinyl on door covers? I am wrapping door panels with vinyl using some spray adhesive out of a glue gun, heated the vinyl to get it to stretch so that it meets the contours of the door panel. After about 2-3 days the vinyl material raised up in curved areas for what ever reason and yes the glue gun being used and glue itself are good. I have used this glue gun/glue many time before and never had any problems. In my second attempt I then sanded the door panel and applied a spray adhesive to enhance the bond between materials. Second attempt was unsuccessly. Any tips???

have you managed to do this yet? coz i have a friend who is an upholsterer and if you haven't managed I'll give him a call and find out what he does.
