Do you guys think the new "crossovers" like the Ford Edge and GMC Acadia are trucks? What constitutes a "car" and "truck" in your mind?

It takes three things to make a truck. A cab, bed and a Frame..

I agree with Wheatman, I have to say. My mom has one of the first and best crossovers, an Acura MDX. It is a great vehicle to take down the Pacific Coast Highway and explore the interesting small towns that dot the Southern California Coast via its excellent Navigation System. It even has a Zagat Rated Restaurant Guide so if you are hungry for Chinese anywhere you punch in (or say via voice activation) "Find Closest Chinese Restaurant" and off you go. Of Course my parents have no idea how this works. But a Truck? Yes it has an elevated seating position, but so do Balcony Seats at the Opera and I don't see those people trying to say it conveys something about an outdoorsy active lifestyle. It is an elevated station wagon. And to be honest, I felt like a Mom driving it.
