Oddly enough, the Tata Sumo SUV does not originate from Japan, the home of Sumo wrestling. It is actually a 'new' Indian SUV model from longtime car and truck manufacturer TATA. (Insert obvious joke here.) Even though this is a new model, to me it looks like a late eighties Mitsubishi Montero. And what is up with the interior? Does nothing line up at all? I nearly had a seizure from all the disonnant shapes and colors. Wacky Tata.

yep I agree, it looks a lot like the early Montero.
