That is what you get for street racing! Although I remember being that age and racing my friend (who had a sweet Chevy Citation...wait, no, it was lame) in my Toyota 4Runner. We had this race on a two lane twisty downhill near the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California where I grew up. I remember racing him, getting a little further ahead and pulling into a soft shoulder. Next thing I knew he was going down the road completely sideways. I don't know how we aren't dead.
P.S. It says something about how slow his car was that I was able to pull ahead of him in a 1991 Toyota 4Runner with only 155 hp! Can you believe V6 engines used to only have that much power back then?
