Hi I was a bit disappointed when in the article 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT - Accessorized the soft powered tonneau cover was tested. I understand the objective was to use GM accessories, but what is when there are accessories that are far superior for a vehicle like that. At the SEMA show2007 I saw a hard paneled powered tonneau cover on a decked out EXT. That looked and worked great with the vehicle. It could to everything the 3 manual panes can do and also was powered. Is was much better then the soft system, which I also still have on my EXT (not for long). I would prefer to be reading about the latest and greatest in truckin magazine, not the average stuff you can get elsewhere. I would like to read what other readers think.

I have to agree. Also seems like there are not too many products being made for the EXT like for others...and I understand that its not as big of a seller but DAMN this new body style has been out since 07 when I got mine and they barely have stuff for it. NO BODY KITS...NO HOODS.... They just came out with air suspention, intake & exhaust. Most other trucks have parts B4 they come out or right after. And WTF how come the SUV & ESV has LED tail lights and the EXT doesnt. I guess those are just the lil things...GET OVER IT RIGHT. Ill just have to try harder to stand out from the crowd.
WOULD ANY SPONSORS LIKE TO USE MINE TO MAKE A BODY KIT...ONLY CATCH I GET TO KEEP THE KIT...haha

I get what you're saying, trust me I do. I'm glad you understand that we were using only parts from GM Performance Parts and Genuine Cadillac Accessories.
Also, I saw that same powered hard tonneau and it was over 2 grand, whereas the soft tonneau from Caddy is $1,200. I know if you can afford an EXT, what is $800 more dollars, but that is a grip. Be honest, would you drive your truck around with that tri-fold panel up top on the roof looking all weird??? I wouldn't.
Thanks for reading and hopefully we'll be able to show you some more cool products for your ride.
Oh and Matchin_Toyz- great-looking ride man, thanks for coming to Havasu last year!!
