Dodge and Nissan in talks to share Truck Technology!

Apparently the next generation Dodge Ram and Nissan Titan pickups may start to share technology with each other. Both are currently the also-rans in the Truck wars, being constantly overshadowed by GM, Ford and Toyota. This may be a way for the two to shine and increase the likelihood of profit by sharing development costs. What do you think of this development? Should Dodge align itself with Nissan?

Sounds strange, but in this brave new world, I guess anything is possible. No weirder than the Mitsu-based D50, I suppose.
