I have been a reader of the mag since 87, but I didn't know about the forum til yesterday. I'm glad I found it & look forward to discuss one of my favorite things, Custom Trucks! I have a 93 F150 XLT LB, lowered 3"/4" with gen 1 lightning wheels. I hope to be able to bag it in the future right after I drop in a gen 1 lightning engine in it.

Cool! I think a long-bed Lightning would be sweet and really original. Plus, you don't see a ton of the first-gen Lightnings fixed up. Keep us posted!

I agree a long bed lighting would be sick especially if you bag it.

I've had the truck since new, but I lowered it this past summer. I've wanted to lower it for several years but I was hesitant on doing for fear of ruining the load capacity of it. It hasn't, should have done years ago, it would have been cheaper
