Hummer and parent General Motors have apparently finally seen fit to fix the interior of the previously substandard H2 monster-SUV. Plastics are now at least on a par with competitors and appear to have an upscale sheen in photos. It might still feel like peanut brittle when touched, but the plastics "look" much imroved. That must mean there is a little life left in the Hummer brand, I would think, if GM bothered to spend the millions to facelift this model. Yeah, definitely a big improvement over the previous interior. I still think the H2 is a symbol of wretched, overwrought American excess. I'd rather see an "H4" or a sub-H3 vehicle along the lines of the Wrangler.
