chevyrst, I've got to agree with you. I've yet to be truly blown-away by any of the Ford Modular V-8s. Granted, I haven't driven a supercharged version (i.e. Mustang Cobra or Lightning) but all of the N.A. versions feel kind of weak to me.

Just you wait. I think Ford is just waiting to spring some new and exciting engine options for the F-150. They need to get the new one on steam in supply lines and factories. (Plus use up all their old powertrains.) I have a feeling there will be an exciting and "Boss" new addition made in '09 or 2010.
