Attention forum participants and bloggers:
My name is Dan, the Sr. Editor of Truckin' and yes, you guys are right, we're not on here very much.
Take the time to read this brief explanation.
There are 3 of us on staff. 200+ pages, 3 guys, and many many things to do each month. I won't apologize for us not being on the website 24/7, do we slack on the forum, sure we do. We have to. Who else is going to take photos of awesome trucks, shoot the newest tech, find cool story ideas, and then write them for you readers? If you feel like we're not doing the website justice, look at our blogs over the last 3 weeks and see the lack of replying from website visitors. Show us you care by commenting on our blogs, and we'll work harder on our website.

I don't know what the deal is with this site. I can barely manage the chaos on our sister site Diesel Power, but there's hardly any action here. Jump on in! Don't be afraid to comment or just say hey!

Thank you for your answer.

- It is true that there isn't much activity on this forum. I enjoy using it to share my enthusiasm about vans. Unfortunately, I can't really help answering technical question to the pick-up crowd.

As for my technical van questions, I already have great forums with friends who can help me out.

So, in a way, this forum is mainly used to hopefully, express comments and questions to the Truckin' readers and staff.

- I have to admit, I'm not a blog man. And I believe most of the blogs are editorials from the magazine which I already read in paper format. If one subject causes me to have strong opinions (positive or negative) I will use the comments on the blogs to express them.

Once again, thank you for clarifying this situation.

Dan is the man. Please comment on some of his blogs! He keeps bugging me that nobody is commenting on them!

uptup-
I'll show you mine if you show me yours.
On a serious note, we are taking the website more seriously. Check out our blogs and see the evidence.
Our web team does a good job with very limited resources and the edit staff is pulled in multiple directions.
Thanks for reading and thanks for visiting our site
Send me your address and I'll send you some Truckin' stickers.

Sure thing, that sounds great. Are you single , or not?  Would you like some nude photos of me in front of my truck?

No thanks, I just ate and really don't think photos (nude or not) is either appropriate or helpful.
We do appreciate you taking an active part in our site.
What does "uptup" represent anyways?
