NEW GIRL NEEDS HELP....

HEY MY NAME IS ASHLEY BUT EVERYONE CALLS ME RAINBOW.I HAVE BEEN TO A LOT OF TRUCKIN SHOWS AND I WANT TO SHOW MY SELF.CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON GETTING STARTED??ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.  

Hi Ashley. Are you talking about yourself or your truck? Truck show bikini contests are OK as a "just for fun" weekend deal, but are kind of a dead-end in terms of trying to "break in" to modeling. If you're really serious about a modeling career, I'd try contacting some agencies in your area. Here's a list I found.

If you're already well-established in modeling and have agency representation, and want to do truck shows "just for kicks" that's fine. But don't expect to get your "big break" from a truck show.

Perhaps instead of showing yourself, maybe you should build a sick truck and show that instead? Maybe get a good job to fund your truck, perhaps go back to school to pursue a career, something like that. Maybe you're already doing these things. That would be more fulfilling in the long run, it really would be.  

HI ASHLEY:INSTEAD OF JUST SHOWING YOURSELF FIX UP A RADICAL TRUCK AND SHOW BOTH YOU AND THE TRUCK OFF AND YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF FUN FIXING UP THE TRUCK.HAVE DONE LOTS OF THEM MYSELF.  

Hey girl. A great way to get into shows is to go to a few local shows in your area and scope out some clubs. That is how I got into the show scene. My hubby and I have been in a car and truck club for the last 5 years and we have made some hella great friends, traveled to LOTS of awesome places, and have never lacked for help on ANY project!! Bein in a club is awesome because you get to be around people that share the same interests as you, and that means alot. Good luck girl! (Boys aren't the only ones that have SWEET TOYS!!!)
