What's everybody think of a 2002 F-150 Lightning Lifted with 33's on 18's, Baja Styled, and what will it take to get it there? What would be my best bet for front end parts? Deaver makes a 6 inch rear spring pack that I plan to purchase, and I am thinkin' Fabtech's Long Travel for the front. Let me know what you think. I'm deployed to Iraq, and am in a personal toss-up between the Lightning build and a 2004 4WD Double Cab Tacoma build when I get home. The reasoning for the Lightning idea is that it will be something noone else has. Let me know what you think.

A lifted Lightning would definitely be unique. That would be my personal vote. I see lifted Tacos all over the place, but I can't say I've ever seen a lifted Lightning. That would be my vote!

What can I say? I like oddballs, and a lifted Lightning would definitely fall into that category. I say go for it!

I agree with gunman...the SVT lightning suspension was made for that truck to ride low to the ground. It isn't built to be a lifted hardcore offroad truck. Even the upholstery on the inside is pretty and soft and alcantara like. A 4wd FX4 or the like has more durable upholstery and cries out for a lift and bigger wheels. Maybe there is a reason you don't see SVT lightning F-150s!
I learned after I left my twenties that being different just for the sake of it was not only exhausting but often times not done for a very good reason.
