What are fuel prices at in your area right now? I know in some cases, diesel is approaching if not over $4.00. Same with premium. Do you think prices are going to go higher? Is it making you consider buying a more economical vehicle?

I live in California, which has the highest prices for gas in all 50 states barring Hawaii. That makes sense since Hawaii is AN ISLAND WITH NO OIL! Why is gas so expensive in CA? You would think with the the Prius Hybrids driving around gas would get a little cheaper here, eh?

On another note, I know the future lies with ethanol apparently but since that fuel has come to the forefront staple food prices (corn, rice, wheat) have gone up 40% this year. So we aren't using foreign oil, but now we are starving the poorest countries for food. Darned if you do, darned if you don't.

Well, no offense to all the Midwestern good ol' boys on this forum, but corn ethanol is NOT the way to go. Cellulosic is the wave of the future, hands-down. Coskata is onto something. Remember "Mr. Fusion" from Back to the Future?
