Yeah plus I kinda had a whole working pair with the wiring harness  on that white parts caddy only had yo buy the buckets which i hate, they are from Sir Michaels had to re model them to fit the caddy light better.  One side of the light had a big gap between the light and none on the other side of it. I ended up splitting them and re welding the buckets before they even got near the truck!!!

Also I have a question, Has anyone out there used any of the 16 gauge fabricated steel weld in roll pans from custom classic.com? if you have let me know how they fit up on a 88 to 98 chevy gmc c/k series truck. I talked to the owner there and he gave me a hell of a price on a roll pan made with 2 frenched in reverse lights just want to make sure it is worth it

I just replied to your other post. You kind of answered my question. I take it you haven't had the best experience with Sir Michaels?

I guess my advice with the guy at Classic Trucks, is ask them what their sale & return terms are. Sales guys can talk a good game all day long, but at the end of the day, it's all about the terms and conditions, and if they stand behind them. I'd say product quality is #1 in my book, followed closely thereafter by customer service, which would include terms & conditions.

I have used Custom classic taillamp fillers a few times and they always fit really well for me just never used any of his pans. I am going to give him a shot. The fact that his fabbed pans are 16 gauge is what is selling me on them, a whole bunch thicker than 18 gauge and with no rear bumper may be a bit stronger back there just in case someone runs into it. (Heaven forbid!!)
I will tell ya one thing E Sanchez you are a very active guy on these forums which is really cool.

Sorry no real update just finished shaving the stake pockets. Shop has been really busy, we are in "crunch time" to get a 67 Chevelle SS 396 finished for a customer. Also with this heat spell, I have no extra energy. Plus waiting on the roll pan to get here.
But I have been kicking around the idea of a frenched in power antenna on the right bedside for a little bit of old school style. I have a good working one with all the wiring...what do you think?

Hey guys still here not dead...LOL. I got involved in some big projects around the house that had to get done. Now I can get back to where I was on this truck. First I made a dolly to put the bed on so I didnt have to call 3 buddies to help me carry the bed out of the corner when I wanted to work on it, man just so much easier now! So I left off On the roll pan with frenched reverse lights, it is now welded on. I also have the frenched power antenna fabbed in.
