I currently own a 2004/5 (WBH) body style Avalanche and I want to know if the new 2007/8 front clip will fit as a direct bolt-on or will I need to find a shop to do some custom fab-work to make it fit? I want to update the look of my truck and enter some shows this summer/fall.

I don't think it'll be a direct bolt-on. You'll probably have to change out the core support, and do some other trimming and modifying. You could get it to work, but I guarantee you it won't be a straight bolt-on.

I have the 05 Escalade conversion kit in Florida if you live close and want to try using that.
