2005 silverado, 5.3L, service air bad light on

I'm not exactly sure if I've got the correct forum, so please forgive me if I'm in the wrong place. But my "service air bag" light keeps coming on. My question is how do I fix this problem. My truck is an 05, with about 52K in milage. I can't seem to find anything in the service manual that will help me, so if anyone can give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it  

I like to welcome you to the site, air bag light I think its best to have it service, the air bag may not be working or it may go off at any time.

a friend had this problem and he took his battery cable off for 15 min. to reset the system, he put it back on the the light did not come back on, its been about 4 months now.

please post back up if you find out the problem/or fix, and if you have some pics of your truck post them up
