i just topped my truck up with super unleaded (premium gas) had 1/4 tank to start with and it cost $170 almost $9 a gallon  .. roll on the revolution...
well yer did say i could rant lol

Ha-ha!! You said it Eamonn! Us Yanks are whiners about fuel prices compared to what they are in the UK and Europe.
American truck enthusiasts have no idea what commitment it takes financially to be a truck enthusiast elsewhere!

yeah i'm in cali rite now and i guess compared to people in the UK, i'm getting a bargain. but still...i can barely pay my rent..now gas too??

I'll vouch for the UK prices too,I did coming over so i can drive big ass cars and Trucks around for peanuts!
Like you eamonnschevy,i wouldn't give up my truck,i wish i could drive it every day,just as well i can't cos it's raining lots lateley!
