2004 Twin Turbo Denali

By now, anyone who is on here has read the latest Truckin' (volume 34, no. 8).  Odds are many have taken a good, long look at the 2004 Denali belonging to Mark Helmandollar with the twin turbo 438 under the hood.  It is my sad duty to inform the readers on here that on Friday, June 13th, Mark's garage caught fire.  Everyone got out ok and the fire damage itself was contained to the garage by the dividing wall.  However, that beautiful truck was caught inside, and is now a total loss.  The good news for Mark is that insurance is going to cover everything, including the truck and all the mods he made on it.  However, all that work that he put into it is gone, and the whole house suffered both smoke and water damage.  One last thing, for anyone who may be wondering, the fire was not caused by the truck.  They have narrowed it down to an extension cord that shorted out.  So for every true truck guys out there, take a moment to look at your pride and joy and remember just how lucky you are to still have it in one piece.
