Because STREET TRUCKS MAGAZINE is going way down hill. I just cancelled my subcription today. Their magazine is getting thinner every month. Their website hasnt been updated since the start of the war in Iraq. Im just fed up with them. If Tavis Noack has half a brain, he would try getting his job @ TRUCKIN back. He is a pretty good editor. I dont think hes even happy working for STREET TRUCKS.I just dont see that magazine sticking around much longer.This is why TRUCKIN is hot.  

Theyres other magazines out there besides Truckin'????

I am torn about this issue.
Competition is good for everyone, though I never really thought of Street Trucks as much competition, it's still good to try and one-up whom ever you're going up against.
That said, I do agree with uptup (did I just say that?). The magazine industry is a difficult one right now and we're doing the best we can to make Truckin' the best it can be. Fortunately Truckin' has a pedigree of being the Number 1 truck title period. We've never known the feeling of being number 2 and it's this very reason that fuels us every month to bring the readers a great experience. We value each of you and want to bring you only the best. Thanks for reading, back to work.  

Running and managing a successful media brand is challenging. Street Trucks basically started as a bunch of disgruntled former Truckin' and other editors thinking they could do things better. Well...we can see how that turned out.

I know Truckin' and truckinweb.com aren't perfect (sorry, Dan. You know I only speak for the site!   ) But we're real people trying to give you guys the best experience and community possible. We always appreciate your feedback, good or bad, and try to constantly improve the experience here.  

I have a subscription to both magazines right now. I enjoy both of them. So Truckin', I will make you this offer. If you'll come and do a spread of the Demon in your magazine, I'll drop my subscription to theirs. Just look at it. Have you ever seen a Dodge Demon truck before? Especially one that looks that good! Yes I'm brown nosing. What do you say? Deal?
