I need to know if anyone knows the best way to get water out of my crankcase. Don't really want to tear the engine apart. The water got in during the winter while the engine was broken down. We had an unusual amount of snow this year (about 6 feet in my front yard) and during the thaw I ended up with some water problems. The engine has not run with the water in it and I have drained out the oil pan. There was not any oil in the crankcase and the new oil filter was still dry when I spun it off. Any advise will be helpful

So...is the water in the cylinders? The easiest way is to pull all the spark plugs out, and either crank the engine, or put it in gear, and push it down the road a little ways to pump the water out. Also, is it carbureted or fuel-injected?
