What do you guys think of Dodge's $2.99 gas promotion? Is it making you any more inclined to buy a new truck? Or do you just see it as a short-term marketing gimmick? Would you be more interested in a low APR or rebate?

Actually the rebates they are offering are a much better deal. The $2.99 a gallon deal is only good for so much a year, and totals about $3k, whereas the current rebates can add up to $7-8K.....

I agree. Is it an either-or deal, or can you get both? BTW, what do you think of the announcement of Chrysler discontinuing factory-financed leasing?
