To anyone out there that may have info on swapping out the 4.7 to a hemi. My truck has been set up for towing the toys and I need more power? Help?

If your 4.7 has the 5-speed transmission, I think it's the same tranny as the Hemi. I've seen a 528 old-school Hemi stuffed into a Dakota, so I know it's possible, it's just a matter of how much modification you're willing to do to make it fit. There are some supercharger kits for the 4.7. Have you considered that route?

i know burnsvilleoffroad.com does 5.7L,6.1L,6.4L swaps into jeeps and they look factory i cant see why they couldnt help with a dakota
