The first Butler was held in the mid 70's. Even back then it was a must attend event and nowadays it continues to attract custom van owners from all over the U.S and Canada. Three River Vans does a great job following the themes they come up with. This year it will be a western theme. There will be a show n shine, games and live band for the many attending. Butler 2008 was a blast. 193 van and trucks there from near and far. Here are some of the highlights. Keep in mind these 3 vans were all built in the 70's:
Flying Eagle II built by Greg of Akron, meticulously restored by Coop:

The Stallion well preserved for over 30 years by original owners son and his brother in law:

Here is a van just finished this year. Ken is a Ford afficianado having built one of the coolest 8 door early Econos he moved on to this Shelby inspired mid Ford:
