I have a 72 Blazer chassis and a 71 body. All the body panels are 72 and they fit perfectly. I am putting a 396 motor in with the 350 motor mounts and it is almost touching the firewall. Anybody been thru this? Thanks, Steve

Well, for one thing, if it's a factory 396, it's a big-block, whereas the 350 is a small-block. You might want to try big-block engine mounts. Might fit better.
