Have a '73 K5 Blazer, want to put a newer style front clip on it'1990'. Not sure how to mke the cowl and hood fit. I know some of you out there have done this, please help me out.

Do you mean the '88-'98 pickup style front-end, or the "transitional" square-body grille that was on some of the '90-'91 Suburbans? I think the latter would be a lot easier to pull off. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I can post some pics.

No, the mid70's(73-?) truck hoods incorporated the cowl as part of the hood, not exactly sure when that changed, also somewhere in the early 80's, the hood hinge was actually in the cab, and the spring/hinge was acoiled one. My question is how to put a later model hood and fenders(from say a '86) on the '74?

if possible the body lines wont match the older stuff had the outword body line and the 90's have an inword body line
