My manual says there are two retaining tabs holding the taillight assembly in place. I need to change a bulb but cannot get the assembly removed, I have removed the two bolts. Any suggestions?

Isn't there some sort of access panel inside the bed, or inside the fender that will let you get to the taillight from behind?
