Yeah dude, I got a c1500 Reg. Cab with 2 12" rockford p2's. believe it or not there is plenty of room if you make your own box (mine came out to have 2.15 cu. feet of space inside). WORD OF CAUTION: although it is totally tits to rattle the windows on the car next to you, when I am just cruising with the subs low, it sounds like crap!!! there is soooooo much power that you have to turn them way down, and there isn't enough space inside the cab to sound decent. learn from my mistakes, go with two good 10's instead and you'll have a better system, trust me! If you really want 12's, then I'll give you the measurements off my box (MDF, took about 3 hours to build), but you won't like the sound.

I have a standard cab Silverado and I was able to take the center console/seat out so I just have 2 bucket seats and made a box to fit in between For my one 12. Here is a picture of it: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3073975

Yeah. That's a good point, the cab space is a lot smaller in a truck than it would be in a car or a crew-cab or even an extended-cab truck. You've got to decide if you're going more for quality or quantity. In this case, smaller might actually be better.

I have a question on this, I'm trying to go for a new stereo set up in my '94 1500. I'm thinking a pass through box with 2 15's. My question is, do I have to build a box or can the pick up box be used as a box. I have a hard cover from gaylords the seals real nice, the bed is carpeted and lined with dynamat too. it's like a giant trunk now. What do you think?

Either way, you'd have to cut the sheetmetal at the back of the cab & the front of the bed, but I've seen it before.

Yeah, that's the other problem. I've seen trucks in the mag though that had a big grommet to go in between the cab and the box, so everything is protected. But I'm not sure where to begin looking for them.

Does anyone know where you can get that grommet short of making something.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I've looked everywhere, and can't find a pre-fab flex coupling for a blow-through setup. I'm assuming most of the trucks out there have a custom-fab one.

Crawl Through. Any woofers even the shallow mount woofers will not hit hard in a shallow box. They will hit just now low bass. so either a crawl through or build a center console.
