Hi I'm the new guy and I have a White 04 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3l, I've put a 7" touch screen cd/dvd in dash player in, also its got a chrome grill guard, chrome headache rack, chrome bed rails, and a tool box. The most reasonte thing i've done is blue street glo's, I've got plans to do wheels but I'm not sure which brand to go with I have been looking at these:

I think these look good and one last thing does any one know the stock horsepower rating for a 04 5.3l 323?

Yeah I'll get some pics here pritty soon and put them on, I'm about to ad Y-pipe and shorty headers also a custom tune. I hope it will get up and go a little better, The guy I am getting to do the tune is a bad ass he mostly does ls1 f-bodys but hes been know to tune on trucks a little. He took a single cab short bed 4.8l and made it 7 tenths faster in the 8th just buy messing with transmission shift points, so I would say thats pritty good.

Get an Xcal tuner and tune it yourself.

I would but the X Calibrator are for Fords and the company that carries the X makes 2 other tuners the x3 and the sf3 but I would get a way better tune by my friend then with a handheld tuner.

If you have a wide band 02, you can tune your Truck with a hand held tuner just as well as on a Dyno....

Yeah I can see that, but I trust him to do a good job and also hes a little cheaper then buying a handheld but hell if I can only save a buck here and there then so be it.
