I am looking to put 285/75-16 tires on my 2001 2500HD Silverado. I want an aggresive tread design, but also something that is going to last. It would also help if they were close to 200 bucks. Let me know what you guys would purchase.

Thanks

BFGs have been a favorite for a long time, but lately I've been hearing a lot of good things about Nitto. Don't know what the price point is on 'em, though.

I kind of had it narrowed down between Cooper Discoverer STT's, MT Baja Claw Radials, and MT MTX Radials. How are these on wear???

Thanks for the feedback guys, I decided to put a set of Cooper Discoverer STT's on. I have been VERY happy with them so far, look good, have stood up well so far, and they are GREAT in the mud and snow.

You can go to intercotire.com and find the thornbirds they are really aggersize tread. I use it on my off road jeep in pa. ive never gotten stuck. they are around 500-1200 bucks.

I actually just got back from the introduction of the new Goodyear MTR with Kevlar tires. They're pretty impressive. They're pretty quiet on the road, but have an aggressive-looking tread & sidewall, and perform pretty well in sand, rocks, and they fling off mud really well. They said they're going to be on-sale in early March. Might be worth a look.
