86 nissan with 3.0...i have a problem... help needed!!!!

i just put a motor in my 86 nissan hardbody. it came out of a 91 pathfinder.... i put my intake and throttle body (tbi) on it and when i run it it will run fine and the it will run like crap.... i replaced the mass air flow and it seemed to help alittle. and it will run great sometime and the other times it will act up again.... im running out of ideas and if there is anyone out there that knows anything about these motors and fuel injection set up with advise please let me know..... thanks

Does the temperature seem to make a difference? Does it act up more on hot days. Does it start & idle fine, then go bad?
