We want to hear from any fans of the old Dodge A100 vans. If you're one of them, post here!

My first van was a 1967 A100. Wish I still had it although it always seemed to have wiring and transmission problems.

I have an Early (1968) Dodge van. It is a project van, that needs to be started, but I have lots of ideas and most of the parts to do it. It will be pro streeted with a 509CI stroked 440. Then it will get an angle chopped top. It should be really fun to drive.

Yeah, it will! Plus driving a Diesel everyday, I really long for the rumble of a big block again. You just can't make a diesel sound cool.

More like armpit for the engine

Was waiting for the Verizon guy the other day to hook up our new stuff at home. I dug out some old photos to scan and the damn scanner wouldn't work so I did the next best thing. I took pics of them with the digital.

Anyway found a ton of pics I will be posting in various spots and I know you all heard of my early that will someday be angle chopped and pro-streeted. So here are some pics of it as I got it and started stripping it. Bought this van in a boneyard in PA for $280 about 15 years ago

OK guys! I chopped my early last night! Albeit only on paper and not exactly MY van, but you'll get the idea!

I need some opinions now before taking cutters to metal (whenever that may be)

First I have to say MY van will NEVER have these wheels and tires on it.

My question is; which of the first three roof lines do you like best?

So this past weekend the weather was pretty nice, so I took the first step to starting the early. Got it out of the storage garage. Hopefully this weekend I'll get it moved into the 'working' garage. I know how much you guys like pictures, so I took some. As you will see it hasn't changed much in a long time. Of coarse it is in a little rougher shape than I remember, but it's all fixable.

This is the storage garage

Luke, you'll see how tight mine is in the next few pics.

Door not high enough

Kids wagon comes in handy

Utility trailer axle. Had to sawzall the tires off cause they were so dry rotted they wouldn't hold air. Anyone have any spare 12" tires laying around?

Had to remove the boards over the garage door to get it out. Shouldn't be a problem after the van is chopped tho.

It's out

Up on stands. It's gonna go on my car trailer from here so I can move it around easier.

As you can see most of the stripping has been done.

Most of the rust is just surface, but some small holes and some dents.

Ugly looking dash, but it's all there

This one is gonna be a *** to fix, but maybe I'll french the tail lights?????

Shame the insides of all the doors look like this, but I have extras and at least it's only the insides. They were all filled with leaves when I got it out of the Bone Yard.

Bent in too!

All in all, not too bad for a junk yard van tho.

Catch up time...   This was a couple weeks ago. I moved the early into the working garage. I know, it's not as big or as fancy as MY garage at Darrins house but, she fits

My wife and I think it looks like a GROUPER

She is all leveled here and ready for final stripping.

Here are some spare doors I thought I was going to use ?????
