Yeah, I was bummed to hear the HHR SS was going away next year. But when you're about to go into Chapter 11, I guess you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

I see the interest in the Custom Van scene beginning to grow... It's kOoL to see the commercial media using more & more vans as a way to sell product... It's getting attention placed on the Custom Van in general... It is also great to see the previously coveted Truckin' Magazine getting back to it's roots...
The Van...
I for one, am an "Old Skool" Vanner, something that got into my blood around 1974 I believe... Me and my Buds went to many runs in the west, then as mentioned previously, marriage, kids, businesses, etc. entered the picture...

I did convert my van to be used in my business, until the day my Ex in a drunkin' stupor ran it straight into a telephone pole... I was more upset about the van, than her getting hurt... But that's a whole 'nother story...

One thing I had always wanted was an Extremely Radical Van, and I am in the process of building it now... "Project Venom" is well on it's way...
Check out my thread at www.vannin.com "Project Venom"

Being on the West Coast, I as well thought Vanning died, but as I was to find out years later, it is alive and well... Thanks vannin.com... Being a "Vanner" has never left me, there's just something about them...
The ultimate canvas for creativity...
later...

Snotty, Bud i wish I could make it to Nats but with a new job comes no friggin' time off I have even been working (Oh Gawd I know!) Saturdays. But as you can see a job does have rewards and yes the SS is sweet, now to find a grey sweade and black "SS" rear seat!
