After years of being at the mercy of mass transit, I picked up a '94 S-10. It needs a ton of work, but I decided to start with the interior. Trying to avoid the mishaps I've encountered in earlier custom projects, I ordered as many of the parts that I could think of. New carpetting, sound deadener, stereo components etc. I despise bench seats and was trying to remove the seat belts for the cetner passenger. They are removed with a T-50 Torx bit. I got the outer ones off with a minimum of groaning, and I doused the inner ones with liberal amounts of penetrating oil. They wouldn't budge, so I put a piece of pipe on the end of my breaker bar, and all that did was strip the top of the bolt heads. I thought if I could find a T-51 bit I could force it in and use an impact gun to get them loose...the only problem is, they don't make a T-51 bit. I could cut off the heads, but those also secure the driver and passenger side inner straps. I'm at a loss as to how I can get these out without major surgery. Any suggestions? I've already tried heating, candle wax, WD40, and cursing in six different languages.

Well, worst-case scenario, you can drill it out and re-tap the thread with a larger size. Does the other end of the bolt come out on the bottom of the floorpan? You might try attacking it from underneath. Not saying that'll necessarily be easier or more effective, but it's worth a look.
