I counted four vans in issue 7. I had to buy a copy. I can't wait to see a few spreads of vans. Can't wait to see issue 8! Good work bob and crew.

We're happy you paid close attention. Issue 8 will be out in a month and it officially launches our VAN section once again. Actually, just 5 minutes ago, I wrapped up the article for issue 9 featuring Alpine Express. Keep supporting the magazine and we'll keep running vans.
Thanks- DAN

Great news about Alpine Express. That is one very nice van. Hopefully you can do something on Vanishing Breed in the future

Yeah really, Alpine express is one heck of a van! you don't see pro street earlies very often. Vanishing breed is a heck of a van as well. 2 early vans you could eat off they're so clean. Keep the American vans coming and we'll keep buying.

I LOVE THE VAN MOVEMENT ,IVE BEEN WORKING ON AND OFF ON MY ASTRO FOR OVER 10 YEARS ,ACTUALLY... I HAVENT TOUCHED IT SINCE 1998 , WE BODYDROPPED IT AND BAGGED IT, THEN I SHAVED EVERYTHING AND ONCE IT WAS IN FLAT BLACK I HAD TO SELL IT FOR MONEY REASONS. I GOT HER BACK A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS UNTOUCHED. IM TRYING TO BUILD IT FOR SEMA THIS YEAR.

DAN , ILL SEND YOU SOME RENDERINGS OF IT FOR THE MAG.

That is great news that Gary's Alpine Express will be in issue 9. Like I keep saying, a vehicle can win all the awards at all the shows but getting featured in a national magazine is the icing on the cake. Gary won the ultimate award for vanning in 2007 when he won Best of Show at the 2007 National Truck-In in Cortland Ohio. Last year he won another big award winning Best of Show at Vanfest. To show his support for the van movement he was at the 2009 Detroit Autorama all the way from Pittsburgh. Issue 9 of Truckin' will most definately be proudly displayed in his van at all the shows he goes to from here on in.
