Pickuptrucks.com is reporting for the first time, the Ford F-150 has been knocked out of its top spot of the Cars.com American-made index, displaced by the Toyota Camry. The rankings take into account both the domestic content percentage as well as the vehicle's overall sales. According to the report, looking at it strictly from a content perspective, the Toyota Tundra ranks as more "American" than the F-150.

Yeah, welcome to the brave new world. I remember reading a few years ago that the Ford Crown Victoria was classified as an "import" at one point, because its domestic content was below 72 percent, and it was built in Canada. Crazy, huh?
