Just wanted to point out that something is severly messed up with the readers rides ratings.  Bossy70's S10 only has a 3.5 star rating??? This was a cover truck.  Not that its a big deal it just upsets me is all.
Thanks

The ratings are averages of the votes on that particular ride. I'll see if I can raise the average.

yeah i just think that the people who voted may have been a little bit biased.  I noticed most of the vans had 3.5-4 star ratings.  I personally gave the S10 top marks.  Its a can of worms that I don't really want to open.  As i think more about it i find more that i feel should be different but it all comes back to voter preference.  That being said a particular truck might be a 4.5 on paper but if the individual doesn't care for the vehicle it may only get a 1 star rating.  I don't mean to point out the obvious just trying to do some ranting i guess.

Cody, you can't get mad at the van guys for being super-enthusiastic. Just says to me the truck guys need to step it up!

I agree that the S-10 is a five star truck. Ed is right though, vanners always seem to stick together and there are quite a few of them here. There are 67 members in my club alone, well 66 now, one passed away yesterday. A lot of people give vans one star just because they are a van and it doesn't matter to them how much blood, sweat and tears as well as money went into building them. That fact alone makes vanners want to stick together.

I think it's cool that vanners are so close knit.  I wish the custom scene in general would learn from the example, there are so many haters out there it promotes negativity in general.  I took one of my trucks to a shop and later found out that the owner i was dealing with was talking smack about it.

Vanners are family. We always have been, that is how we have stayed together all these years. My van club started in the 60s as a close knit group of friends and we are still around, the oldest van club in the country and Route 66 Hall of Famers. Cory if you were to buy a van you would see why we are so head over heals in love with vans. What you can do with them is only limited to your imagination.
