im getting a 65 chevy and after fixing the master cylinder im giong to set off on making it custom. I was planning on doing it in the order of cleaning the v6 for the moment, getting a exhaust (probably flomaster), getting wider back tires and front tires, fixing the interior. After this ill get it painted, then probably save and buy a v8 to drop into the engine. Do you guys think this is a good aproach to this?
thanks

i have been thinking about the order of my current project. As of right now i have the stock 350 in decent running condition and i have started to buy the little things for the interior and exterior. When I am comfortable with the way things look then it is going to get painted, then rims, then lowered/bagged. Then last i will consider an engine build/swap. Mind you this is just a rough plan if a good deal comes around i wont pass it up. Keep your eyes open for good deals, it never hurts to have some spare parts kickin around for later if it saved you a couple of bucks.
